Parcero Wine Bar: A Date-Night Gem in Garden City

Parcero Wine Bar is a woman-owned wine bar in Garden City that opened in 2024 inside a former Wells Fargo bank branch, and reviewers keep calling it one of the Treasure Valley's best spots for an unhurried evening out. The name is Colombian slang for friend, and the room delivers on that promise: 55 wines by the glass, more than 200 bottles, weekly flight specials, and small bites. It is a genuinely well-reviewed pick for a night out, whether you come with a friend, a date, or by yourself.

What makes it special

Parcero occupies the former Wells Fargo branch at 3301 West Chinden Boulevard, and the space is the show: heavy stone, brick, and the original bank vault still anchor the room. The owners turned the branch's bones into a warm lounge with cushioned seating, low lighting, and a long bar, and the vibe is genuinely relaxed rather than dressy. The wine program is serious but welcoming: 55 wines by the glass and more than 200 bottles, leaning on Idaho's Snake River Valley alongside West Coast and European picks, with beer and non-alcoholic options for anyone who wants them.

What to order

  • A wine flight, like West Coast Is the Best Coast or Euro Trip, to sample several pours at an easy pace
  • The François Montand Brut Rosé with a cheese plate, a pairing reviewers mention again and again
  • Basque Market croquetas, plus the bread with herbed butter and dipping oil
  • A curated meat-and-cheese board to share, or one all to yourself

What it costs

Glasses run about $9 to $16, flights around $18, and bottles $30 to $47, with 25 percent off bottles to go. Private Behind the Bottle tastings run about $26 to $45 per person. A full evening with a flight and snacks lands in the comfortable middle of Boise's night-out price range, and it is just as easy to keep the tab light with a single glass and the bread.
